Terms & Conditions.
1) Legally Binding Agreement: By signing a contract or agreement to start said job/s with Southeast Pressure Washing Services, you are signing and/or replying via SMS or Email and agreeing to a legally binding contract for an agreed upon price. In the event you break this contract, all deposits made to the company shall be surrendered as damages.
2) Product Warranties: All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Southeast Pressure Washing Services additional warranties; If you ever have a
concern regarding our work Southeast Pressure Washing Services should be contacted immediately.
3) Water Usage, Pooling Interior/Exterior, Water Permits & Water Restrictions Blocked Drain: By signing this agreement you agree to provide Southeast Pressure Washing Services the right
to use any on-site water or to supply the necessary amount of water needed for the duration or completion of the project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge or for the client to supply the necessary amount. It is the client’s responsibility that the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive at the premises.
Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.
Pooling of water of the interior or Exterior due to leaking walls windows left open door, gaps and cavities, poor seals and or bad drainage or blockage is at no fault of Southeast Pressure
Washing Services and takes no responsibility in any damages due to negligent maintenance or poor drainage but will assist in trying to help minimize the amount of water in said areas by using a reclaim, venturi or vacuum system squeegee or brooms to remove water pooling. Drains that are blocked on the day of work then we may incur a surcharge for additional time spent cleaning up. This will be pointed out on the day prior to works if visible and noticeable if not as soon as problem occurs then the worker onsite will notify client and if it results in a timely exercise the surcharge may occur If water source is not available or poor water pressure available, it is possible for Southeast Pressure Washing Services to provide water at an additional cost to outsource water and that cost is always subject to change and will be discussed and assessed at the time previous or during job pending reason. If water restrictions are in place Southeast Pressure Washing Services Will assess each job accordingly and if possible, to go ahead with said job then will remain working otherwise if job cannot go on due to water restrictions and usage of water than job will need to be rebooked for a later date when restrictions have been lifted.
If a water permit is required or needed and a hydrant is needed to supply water source and that if a water usage permit is not supplied by client, then additional charges will be added. This may result in a period of wait time for permits to be submitted and approved to then commence works.
4) Electrical Usage/ External Power: By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Southeast Pressure Washing Services the right to use an on-site power source/supply for the duration or
completion of the project without compensation. If an exterior power source is required, it will be at an additional charge.
External powered lights or similar are expected to be appropriately IP rated for similar environmental conditions such as rain. We avoid spraying near these items, however if overspray or drips
cause a shortage or worst case a fire, Southeast Pressure Washing Services are NOT liable or responsible for repair or replacement.
5) Color and Tone Concerns: The properties and species of masonry material like stone, pavers, concrete, and other materials such as many types of metals, timbers and wood age and weather like sun and rain can affect the resulting color or tone of the stain/oil/paint on in and around the structure or in some cases the natural integrity and looks can change dramatically.
Southeast Pressure Washing Services will attempt to represent final finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you an idea of the overall color or tone variance in the overall finish.
6) Courtesy: While Southeast Pressure Washing Service staff, team members, workers/ sub-contractors are at location of works and performing work on the contracted property, dwelling or
structure that you are responsible for keeping yourself as well as other individuals' children and pets away from the work areas, tools, vehicles, chemicals and to maintain and keep a safe distance.
7) Payments, Pricing, Cancelations, Emergency Jobs, Additional Charges, Downtime & Call Out Fees: Payments to Southeast Pressure Washing Services are due as per contract schedule and
are to be paid by Bank Cheque, Credit Card payment, Online Banking by BSB and Account Transfer (With a copy of receipt or transaction) or otherwise Cash Payment. (Payments made by credit or other card types may occur additional fees & charges beyond Southeast Pressure Washings Control). Contactless payment preferred when and where possible. (No personal Cheques will be accepted for any works performed by Southeast Pressure Washing Services).
Subject to changes and price inflations any printed or written quote from Southeast Pressure Washing Services is valid for 21days (about 3 weeks) from the date on each quote.
All payments to be made upon completion and/or remaining outstanding figures due to deposits or part payments being paid prior or during duration of project. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing on a contract base. Late charges will be immediately charged and added if not paid in accordance with contract terms. (Fees and charges subject to change at any time). The client/customer agrees to pay any collection cost incurred by Southeast Pressure Washing Services. Contactless Payments Preferred. Deposits prior to works for materials/
chemical and or security of partial payments may be required and will be up to the discretion of Southeast Pressure Washing Services due to liability.
Call out fees for General Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Rural, Project and Emergency works after normal work hours of 730am-730pm will incur an additional call out fee of $250 and $200/hour per worker plus chemical and waste disposal charges if any.
Downtime fees are charged at rate of $110/hour per person onsite.
(All prices, rates, fees, and charges are subject to changes).
7a) Waste Disposal Charges: Waste disposal charges vary on waste management's facilities pricing, distance, time, and operating hours.
7b) Pricing Variants/Permits: All jobs are priced differently pending many situations no job will be the same as the last or the next. Some jobs are priced based on Day/Night weekend or Public Holiday Rate, Per M2, Per Project or Job, Per Hour, Call outs and Emergency works. (All rates are subject to change).
Any additional permits such as water usage hydrant permits, council permits, working at heights, additional tagged equipment or road and footpath permits such as MOA Vic Roads permits, or Traffic Management Plans and Permits are a requirement then this will be of additional cost or to be sorted by the customer, client.
Noise permits and late-night afterhours works permits to be provided by customer or client if such tasks need to take place after standard operating hours of the EPA’s operating times for use of power tools and petrol-powered machines or plant and other machines or equipment if required to complete the necessary job.
7c) Hiring of People (labor hire) Sub-Contractors, Delivery or Drop off Equipment Plant or Machines: Hiring of people, plant, machines, and equipment all come at extra cost and prices will vary pending varies circumstances such as how much, how many, when and if available.
8)Scheduling and Bookings: Scheduling and Booking in a company or business which productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling and bookings; However, there may be circumstances that are beyond our control that may affect your project start and completion time and dates.
9) Removal & Replacement of Property / Personal Contents: Removal and replacement of BBQ’s, deck furniture, potted plants and any other items are the responsibility of the client/customer. Should we need to remove items from certain areas on the premises that Southeast Pressure Washing Services will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may occur for the time and labor devoted to the removal and replacement of these items.
10) Damages / Risks: Southeast Pressure washing Services is not and will not be held accountable for damages due to improperly installed cladding/siding, loose or cracked tiles /pavers/ bricks or timbers. Windows and improperly sealed windows and door, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires switches or any electrical assets, loose or improperly installed gutters and improper caulking. In every aluminum cladding/siding case and in some cases of vinyl cladding/siding the sun and weather will bleach the color causing to fade which entails removal of chalky, gritty residue or in some cases failing surface materials may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl, aluminum, or timber to stand out. This may be visible with some treated or non-treated painted, stained, oiled and natural timbers and masonry materials and products. Southeast Pressure Washing Services will not be responsible for such conditions. We also will not be held responsible or liable for old/new completely dry loose, wet, or not completely set mortar and other material that may dislodge, separate, or become loose during the cleaning process.
Southeast Pressure Washing Services will not be held accountable for any fading, flaking, peeling, cracking, bleeding of paints, oils, solvents or any other water base or chemical products used
and will take no responsibility for the rectification of any of the issues of the property, dwelling, structure, or surfaces. Naturally occurring problems cannot be prevented on some surfaces
whether they be pores like concrete and could be subject to issues like efflorescence, construction error, disintegration and scaling, cracks spalling, and pop-outs inspection and monitoring is
required. Timbers and wood defects such as bowing box heart, cheeks, compression fractures, cupping, diamonding, twisting, Fungai rot and pests such as termites and borers that destroy
concrete and timbers and unfortunately are beyond Southeast Pressure Washing Services’ control.
11) Application: Application of paints, stains, oils, solvent, and water-based products or any use for application storage or disposal of fuels paints or chemicals will be applied as directed, used
in the correct manner in the safest way for best results to prevent any injury harm to one (1) or many people or non-human i.e.: pets' plants and any part of the environment.
12) Stains/Markings Double Glazed Windows & Doors: Some stains cannot be removed by pressure washing, soft washing general wiping, soaping scrubbing or using various chemicals. Tree
sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains, oils and paints are some examples of matter that may not be able to be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point these out
to the client/customer when quoting the project pre clean, mid clean or post clean if unveiled and noticed during cleaning process.
Windows may become water spotted as a result when cleaning and providing our services also when dealing with double glazed windows and doors or any double glazed glass panels that any water seeping or discolor and runs between the glass panels Southeast Pressure Washing Services will not be liable to fix, clean or replace due to poor seals, Maintenace or manufacturing issues; However window cleaning is Not included but may be able to arrange to clean the exterior windows at additional charge.
13) Concrete And Other Surfaces: The appearance of concrete and other surface or materials depends on several factors most linked to when the concrete was initially poured and cured.
When concrete and other surfaces with dirt, Mould, mildew, algae and other pollutants and stains is cleaned it is at this point of cleaning said surface/s that the concrete or any other cleaned surface could reveal signs of any other imperfections of age or that the pollutants and stains such as dirt, Mould, algae, mildew and may other material, leaf matter and other coverings that have or may have contributed to the covered area or surface over time.
In reading this the customer understands that not all concrete or any other surface or materials will look the same way as they did when built, poured, or erected from brand new. We are simply cleaning said surface.
Driveway, patio, sidewalk, concrete slab, or other cleaned surfaces may have been covered or over shadowed wet and dry areas may seem different in appearance. As a result of this could be
due to many reasons. This is even more crucial when working in areas with oil (spills, leaks, drips and more) also paints and other materials all contribute to this.
14) Safety: It is advisable to stay clear of workers and work areas to prevent any slips trips and falls from or while set up or during any event of cleaning or post clean in the event of packing up of tools and equipment used on or off location of job. Be aware and careful of any uneven surfaces, clients should tell any family members, Neighbours, and friends that work is taking place and that there will or could be a chance of chemical spray taking part within the clean pending job and of clients requests to use or to prevent the use of chemicals and that direct contact or even overspray can or may be harmful or sometimes fatal if not careful and that all people and animals maintain safe distances at all times . Also, to remove any pets from work areas until completion of job to prevent any problems.
Chemicals can or may cause skin irritation, itchy sore or stinging eyes in which case wash out and rinse with clean water and seek professional medical help if necessary.
Southeast Pressure Washing Services expects all properties, dwelling or structures to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall be weathertight. Southeast Pressure Washing Services is not responsible for the result of water infiltration from poor improper installation, maintenance or repair of electrical related items doors or windows. Southeast Pressure Washing Services Cannot guarantee 100% removal of artillery or other fungus types from exterior house surfaces.
Good ground condition for access and egress to property is necessary if not suitable conditions to enter and exit then a discussion may need to take place for rescheduling or cancelation of job.
15) Alarms: If any alarms are to be alarmed and are to activate such as house, car, caravan, boat, smoke alarm, fire alarm, security alarm or any other alarms while Southeast Pressure Washing Services workers are onsite and working and need to be evacuated and any fines are issued by government bodies or other private parties or business’ that Southeast Pressure Washing Services will not be held accountable for any of these charges.
This may result in downtime fees and charges at the expense of the customer or client to pay it forward if workers are unable to commence work or able to retrieve vehicles, tools, machinery, or equipment to proceed with or to job/s, bookings, meetings, or other emergency call outs if required.
